Job Title: QA Tester (Blockchain and DApps)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and security of the our platform. As a QA Tester, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve issues. You will play a vital role in delivering a flawless user experience to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing and Validation:

   • Conduct comprehensive testing of decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain integrations.

2. Automation:

   • Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and similar others. 

3. Frontend and Backend Testing:

   • Test web applications built on React.js & Next.js for responsiveness, usability, and accessibility.

   • Validate API functionality using tools like Postman.

4. Performance and Security:

   • Conduct load and stress testing using tools like JMeter and similar others.

   • Identify security vulnerabilities in dApps and smart contracts.

5. Bug Tracking and Reporting:

   • Log and track issues using JIRA and similar tools.

   • Collaborate with the development team to resolve identified issues.

6. Documentation:

   • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and testing reports.

   • Maintain up-to-date documentation of testing processes and results.

7. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and user stories.

   • Provide feedback to improve overall platform functionality and user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:

   • Experience testing blockchain applications, including smart contracts and Web3 integrations.

   • Proficiency with JavaScript testing libraries (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest).

   • Familiarity with multichain environments and wallet integrations (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect).

2. Tools Expertise:

   • Experience with automation tools like Selenium and similar others. 

   • Proficiency in API testing using Postman.

3. Performance and Security Testing:

   • Hands-on experience with tools like JMeter or similar tools.

   • Understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, overflow issues).

4. Soft Skills:

   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

   • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

   • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify edge cases and uncommon scenarios.

Key Competencies:

• 2+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in blockchain or DeFi projects.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or relevant work experience.

• Familiarity with Adaptive and Hybrid  life cycle and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Knowledge of DeFi concepts such as smart contracts, transactions, and token swaps.

• Experience working with tools like Ganache, Alchemy, postman, Infura, or The Graph, etc,.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements in blockchain and cryptocurrency platforms.
