Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with a strong cryptocurrency and blockchain technology background to lead the development of our cutting-edge mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android app development, along with hands-on experience in integrating blockchain technologies into mobile platforms. As a Mobile Lead, you will guide a team of mobile developers, design and build highly secure and scalable mobile applications for our crypto products, and ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Android Development Team:
  Oversee and manage the entire Android development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, ensuring that all mobile solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.

• Blockchain Integration:
  Develop and integrate blockchain solutions into mobile applications, including wallet functionalities, cryptocurrency exchanges, smart contract interactions, and token management.

• Mobile Architecture:
  Design and implement robust mobile architectures that support smooth crypto transactions, secure authentication, and integration with decentralized applications (dApps).

• Product Ownership:
  Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into high-quality mobile solutions.

• Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
  Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and ensure the team follows best practices and coding standards. Lead discussions on new mobile technologies and improvements to app performance.

• Security & Compliance:
  Ensure mobile app security by implementing encryption protocols, multi-factor authentication, and compliance with security standards in the crypto and blockchain space.

• Performance Optimization:
  Continuously monitor app performance and implement improvements in app responsiveness, battery efficiency, and scalability.

• Feature Development:
  Lead the development of key features, such as push notifications, transaction tracking, market data updates, and real-time notifications for crypto asset management.

• Quality Assurance:
  Work closely with QA teams to ensure mobile applications are thoroughly tested, bug-free, and offer a seamless user experience across various Android devices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.

• Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development.

  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack, APIs, and mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP).

  • Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies and working knowledge of cryptocurrency platforms (Bitcoin, Ethereum, or similar).

  • Experience with Web3 libraries and integrating decentralized applications (dApps) on Android.

  • Proficient in handling RESTful APIs and WebSocket for real-time data.

  • Familiarity with crypto wallets, tokenization, and smart contract deployment and management.

• Security:

  • Expertise in mobile app security, including encryption, secure storage, authentication, and blockchain transaction security.

• Project Management:

  • Ability to manage and lead an Android development team, guide technical decisions, and coordinate projects across departments.

• Tools & Platforms:

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Android testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry with a passion for crypto and blockchain technology.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in building and scaling cryptocurrency-related mobile apps such as crypto wallets, exchanges, or DeFi platforms.

• Familiarity with NFT integration and token management on mobile platforms.

• Exposure to cross-platform development frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is a plus.
